imus ranch ... think about it

it has been a while since don imus was booted from his radio show for something he should have apologized for (he did) and something he should not have lost his job over ... jabbing back at american culture with it's own idioms....

being in a market with no imus for 3 years now ... i miss hearing his morning show ... though i listen to bill bennett's morning in America everyday ... and it's a great listen. fantastic radio and show dynamics.

imus had the same thing going for him with the great show, cast, crew and guest dynamics ... it was a place to get news and off the cuff conversation from the uptights and downrights...

this post isn't about one of my passions - am talk radio - but just a reminder that the imus ranch still exists (afaik) and there's a way to support this great work (which obviously got a great deal of support with national airplay when imus had his show).

imus news? i am ignorant of what's happening ... no news here on that ...

case of the mysterious redirect ... have I been hacked?

really not much to go into here ... except i discovered a redirect working on my blog ... had i been hacked? hijacked? what was the issue?

... a bit of code which once displayed ads was left in my blog template. it was an ad exchange - and the owner let the domain die. apparently, the domain was picked up by network solutions: www.networksolutions.com - and this caused a redirect.

lesson - watch those script codes on your blog - they could turn on you.

not much more to say ... life is busy ... blogging is minimal as of late ... i wouldn't have known a thing about this if search sight (click to see) hadn't been faithful to send me an email concerning my listing - they market themselves well. lo, and behold, and all that ... the thumbnail was not of my page at all.

problem ... fixed ... hopefully :-)

currently i am listening to this new offering:
