so far, the best quote of the 2008 political season has come from my ever lovely and always wondrous wife. upon hearing the latest primary news of obama and clinton going on in the primaries and mccain's clinch of becoming the nominated - she said,
"One thing you can say for certain, '2008 is definately going to be longer than 2007!'"
"It certainly will be," i said, looking over to see her with a huge smile on her face.
"of course it is ... it's leap year!"
a tautology if ever i heard one and so far it's my favorite quote ... it will probably be usurped by another down the line ... but whatever words replace its rank on my list of quotes - i doubt any of the other ones will be as certain as this one.
